Physics is all around us in the form of motion and light movement. It teaches us about the natural world and beyond, making it pretty important. We have physics to thank for amazing feats like building skyscrapers, bridges, or even spaceships! And don't overlook our reliance on physics for the functioning of smartphones, TVs, and laptops - those gadgets we just can't live without! Without this persistent science doing its thing so well over time- we wouldn't be where we are today with incredible tech improving our lives big-time!
Even though physics is a crucial topic in high school, it can appear difficult and overwhelming to several students. To help alleviate this issue, we are excited to be offering a series of online physics classes specifically designed for Grade 11 students.
Our physics classes for Grade 11 students cover a variety of topics that will provide a strong foundation in physics concepts. Some of those are:
Electro and magnetostatics: Students will learn about the behavior and interaction of electric and magnetic fields.
Simple circuits: Students will understand how to analyze and design basic electrical circuits.
Introductory quantum physics: Students will explore the fundamental principles of quantum mechanics.
Optics: Students will study the behavior and properties of light, including reflection, refraction, and wave-particle duality.
Interactive Learning: Our course delivery follows interactive-learning principles and peer-instruction methods where both a textbook and departmentally-written course notes are adopted.
