Try to motivate your students for setting short and long-term goals for their future. Short-term goals basically focus on today and the next few days and perhaps weeks so ask your students to set goals for them accordingly. Motivate them to have long-term goals for their life and career. If students are having trouble in doing so then as a teacher you should mentor them.
Students usually lag behind in asking doubts or problems that they face due to shyness or other reasons. You as an instructor should always try to create a safe, supportive environment for students. Students will find it easy to talk with their teachers asking them doubts about the sessions and will stay motivated to do their work and learn.

You can implement the above-mentioned ways for making your sessions more interesting and fun for your students. As an instructor always try to motivate your students by studying, sharing with them real-life examples about getting success, and the importance of study in their life.
